It's the ScrapMatters Birthday Bash Blog Train!
I hope you are enjoying the ride! You should have arrived here from Denise's blog . If you should get lost along the way, you can visit ScrapMatters this afternoon and a complete list of stops.
The theme of our blog train is A Perfect Picnic and I wanted to share a little memory of my perfect picnic. In my opinion, there is no place around here that's better for picnics than Como Park. There are acres of green grass, shade trees and flowers. There's a paved path around a beautiful lake where swans can always be found. There are waterfalls and statues and fountains. And there is no shortage of families gathered around picnic tables laughing and playing together while the food sizzles on the grill. When I was a kid, my favorite parts were viewing the frog sculpture that still sits amid the lily pads in a huge rectangular pool and then ringing the bell of and old train engine that used to be on display there. Of course, there's also the zoo, conservatory and Como Town amusement park. You could easily spend the entire day there and not see everything. If you're ever in Minnesota, you ought to check it out!
